George W. Bush gets the Order of the Boot
p2pnet news view | P2P | Politics:- This weekend, during his final pep talk to survivors of his Nonexistent Weapons of Destruction War in Iraq, George W. Bush got the boot.
Literally.
An Iraqi journalist threw both his shoes at Bush in the middle of a press conference in Baghdad.
The pic, a clip from a YouTube video, shows him hurriedly ducking as the first piece of footwear (Yellow arrow) sails over his head, missing him only by a matter of inches.
Throwing a shoe at someone is a particularly insulting insult in the Islamic world but, “this surely won’t be the last offensive gesture he encounters on his travels,” says The Guardian’s Emine Saner.
And to prove the point, the story cites the (in)famous British V Sign, “Not to be mistaken with the victory or peace signs”.
Churchill, “often got his fingers facing the wrong way — and on a tour of Australia in 1992, George Bush Sr flicked the Vs to a group of farmers,” it says, also mentioning France’s bras d’honneur, described thus »»»
Not easily misunderstood – the slap of one hand against the crook of the opposite elbow, the aggressive thrust of the forearm and fist, and the giant phallus it is supposed to resemble. Particularly popular in France (where it is translated as “the arm of honour”) and southern European countries. An exaggerated “screw you”, if you like.
Other gestures Bush might come across, says The Guardian, include »»»
The thumbs up
The OK sign
Bunny ears
Biting the thumb

Damn … the guy didn’t get him!
Next time use hand grenade in shoe. This way you get rid of one to save many and probably the whole world
I must say this, getting rid of monarchy, is becoming a trend worldwide. Hmm, about time the tyrants stepped down and go hide in their underground cities, where they belong.
