Camille Labchuk for Prime Minister!
p2pnet news view | P2P | Politics:- Yesterday we posted a story suggesting George W. Harper was thinking about packing it in as Prime Minister so he could work with the leaders of the opposition parties in Canada’s interests rather than their own.
It was, of course, a total fabrication.
I mean, how could the people we elected possibly place their own efforts to stay in office behind the concerns of the people who put them there in the first place?
Never happen. But there may be an alternative.
Camille Labchuk. That’s her on the right.
She’s a canadidate in the CBC’s Next Great Prime Minister contest.
“I’m in this contest for a few reasons,” she tells p2pnet, going on »»»
First, I want to advance the policy solutions that Canada needs to hear, like developing the green economy, bringing in proportional representation, increasing vacation and leisure time and expanding public health care.
Second, I am hoping it will help — in some small way — to help re-engage young people in politics. With the worrying decline in voter turnout even more pronounced among young people, we can’t afford to wait before acting.
I hope you will join me in my quest to become Canada’s Next Great Prime Minister by watching my entry video and rating me. One of the semi-finalists is selected based on web ratings and I’m in a close race for this honour.
Thank you for your support!
Good luck!

She makes a lot more sense than any candidate to date. Missed a few things but this can be forgiven due to her age. I do wonder how she’s stand up to vicious industrial complex, secret societies and bringing in disclosure?
I give her 90% for a good start.
btw: i rate most adult candidates/politicians below 30%

You have my vote, I give her a 90% as well.
