Canada has to move fast on this and also build up a military presense there (bases/ sci-stations). Thue USSR is already wanting to fight over it as well as a couple of outhers. I don't want to see Russion oil wells in our North. But declaring Santa to be Canadian instead of multi-national? Thats going overboard on the propaganda a bit.
