p2pnet news view | P2P:- Guess what?

Microsoft wowser Windows 7 has been ‘leaked’.

If you’re interested, “The beta version of the OS, reportedly Windows 7, build 7000, can be downloaded from several infamous torrent sites often used to share pirated content,” says InformationWeek.

Yes, indeedy. 7000 Plus_Patch. Etc……..

But, “Microsoft may not be overly displeased with the leak,” says the story.

No, indeedy.

Meanwhile, at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer will, “kick off the event with a keynote address on Jan. 7,” says the IDG News Service, adding:

“He’s expected to give a peek at Microsoft’s Windows 7 OS, which many hope will be zippier and less resource hungry than Windows Vista.”

  2. Josh Says:

If it’s impressiev for a beta, this may actually turn out well for MS

“many hope will be zippier and less resource hungry than Windows Vista”

I don’t have such hope, because DRM is not going away and there was no precedent for MS to deliver on that.

  4. crystalizer Says:

  5. free1 Says:

W7 Beta is just that … a beta. This means it’s in the testing stage.
Why should I or anyone else do their testing or them when they are getting paid for it?
Pay me and I’ll think about it.
