Toronto spy camera experiment ends
p2pnet news view Freedom | P2P:- The pic on the right is a clip from a video published by the Toronto Star and released by Metro Toronto Police on the murder of Abdikarim Ahmed Abdikarim, 18, in March this year.
It was captured on special surveillance cameras sited in what the authorities designated high-risk areas.
“Investigators allege that the suspect and another man walked up a path toward the six victims and without warning, opened fire while walking backwards, killing Abdikarim and injuring five others,” says the story.
Now, “Toronto police will wrap up a $2-million experiment with surveillance cameras on New Year’s Eve,”" says the CBC, going on:
“The idea was to give police better investigative tools while at the same time helping to deter crime.
“Police say the use of the cameras follows information and privacy commissioner guidelines, which require that camera tapes be erased within 72 hours if not needed for a criminal investigation.”
Over the past 18 months, cameras have rotated between four divisions, says the Star, adding:
“The last cameras were removed from 14 Division the Bathurst St. and Queen St. W. area at the end of October, but the project officially ends tomorrow.”

SOME more news you know BELL CANADA fears you when you get this at bottom of an email(see quotes)
bell canada trying to HIJACK YOUR RIGHT TO YOUR EMAILS THEY SEND YOU
Placed at the bottom after you read the email.
“CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This email transmission, and any documents, files or previous email messages attached to it may contain confidential information that is legally privileged. Do not read this email if you are not the intended recipient. If you are not the intended recipient, or a person responsible for delivering it to the intended recipient, you are hereby notified that any disclosure, copying, distribution or use of any of the information contained in or attached to this transmission is STRICTLY PROHIBITED”
A) no law in Canada can prevent me form doing whatever i want with my own email that you send especially when you place that at the bottom.
You have to allow a person to agree or not agree at the top of said email OR make a popup that would allow, thus the terms stated above will not fly in Canadian law , DO NOT be fooled they are scared a me.
B) I have apparently won a 13 month battle with bell Canada , resulting in me leaving one of there services free and clear ( they get truly about 15$ a my cash and for the hastle to get it that far down for get it.
C) knowing contract law in Canada was and is key to dealing with and service related business. Ironically those best are those that don’t need a contract.
