John Travolta’s son, Jett, dies

p2pnet news view | Movies:- John Travolta’s 16-year-old son, Jett, died today, says TMZ.

“There have been reports that Jett was autistic, though Travolta has denied it, saying he suffers from Kawasaki Syndrome, a condition which often leads to heart disease,” say the story.

It has Travolta’s attorney, Michael Ossi, saying Jett had a seizure at his family’s vacation home at on Grand Bahama Island and couldn’t be revived.

Kawasaki disease is a, “poorly understood self-limited vasculitis that affects many organs, including the skin and mucous membranes, lymph nodes, blood vessel walls, and the heart,” says the Wlkipedia, adding:

“By far, the highest incidence of Kawasaki disease occurs in Japan (175 per 100,000), though its incidence in the United States is increasing. Kawasaki disease is predominantly a disease of young children, with 80% of patients younger than 5 years of age.

“The disease affects boys more than girls.”

    RIP

  2. Jon Says:

    To all:

I deleted several posts from different people because they used the death of Travolta’s son to poke at Scientology.

No one dislikes the cult more than I do, but this isn’t the place or the time.

    Cheers!

  3. Reader's Write Says:

I believe i don’t know Scientology well enough to judge, although i at least read about a little. But even if he believes in aliens or evil etc., i wouldn’t care. I love John Travolta a lot and i’m very deeply sorry.

  4. Adam Says:

I don’t mean to sound insensitive, merely speculative.

I doubt Travolta is mourning the loss, and if he is, would not do so for long. I’m not saying anything about travoltas character, or the fact that his son suffered from anything (whichever one of the two you mentioned).

It is the fact that, due to Travoltas beleifes, his son is still alive. He has been ridden of all “Thetans” or “Engrams”, and is still walking this plane of existance, just not visible to any of us.

  5. free1 Says:

Ok, I can respect that Jon.

Too bad Jett had to go under such circumstances. Hope he had a good life.

As our most ancient records say:
    - the soul is most resilient and can not be easily destroyed
    - the soul returns after a time if not finished it’s purpose
    - Earth is like a school house, we are here to learn what we must till our time to move to the next stage
    - powers that be know this very well and should heed it lest they be put through what they dish out

    Dear
    John and Kelly
My heart is just broken for you and your family, My son was murdered in 1999, he was my only son. It is very difficult to go on even after nine years nobody understands unless they have been there. I just know the difficulty it is to loose a child and the people that are saying bad things about your family. They are very sick people. And don’t understand and are jealous of you and your family. That is so wrong. My heart is just broken for you and your family. Please don’t pay any attention to the ones that have issues. My son meant the world to me. The pain never goes away what ever religion maybe. That is totally your business, as for me,God got me through the really hard times and I will be praying for the whole family, I am heart sick over this, when I saw it on the t.v the other night. May God bless all of you. And the saying you will just go right on I don’t believe that, I heard you both were in Paris shooting another movie and that he was attach to John’s hip and trust me that is wonderful. What I wouldn’t give to see my son again and to hug him and tell him how much I love him although that was the last thing I said to my 19 year old son everybody has a different relationship to there children. John and Kelly. John I know that your wife and you are going to need some leaning on and I know that family and friends will be there for you.
Your friend that you will never Know

  7. Reader's Write Says:

Live and love everyday. We are so sorry for the loss of this precious little boy, how selfish of anyone who says anything else than how sorry we are for your loss. Any true parent on this earth who love theirs child like no other is so sorry for your loss and prays that God gives you the strength to get thru this and keeps you moving on. We dont have answers at this time but I do believe true believers will one day know. My heart and prayers go out to you, stay strong, nothing else we can ever say that will help except we are truly sorry for your loss and may God be with you!

  8. Larry Says:

Words cannot express the grief that Mr. and Mrs. Travolta must feel right now. I don’t care what religion they believe in, it was their son that died. How can they not be grief stricken. It was their son. My heart and the heart of every person out there should go out to them at this time and for all time. I’m not ashamed to admit this, but I’m sitting here crying as I type this. I am a 62 year old man who has never been married but I too can feel the grief that this family must feel. I once had a tenant who also had a 16 year old son. The boy died shortly after his 16th birthday. He just stopped breathing. It was like his heart lost the breathe signal from his brain. He was a special child while he was alive. When I went to pay my respects, my tenant said to me, and I remember it so clearly, “Larry, they’re supposed to bury us, we’re not supposed to bury them. Ladies and gentlemen, please don’t criticize the religious beliefs of the Travolta’s. This is nether the time nor the place for such comments. This family needs messages of Love, not criticism. May G-d give them strength to get through this most difficult time. May G-d be with the Travolta family.
