That happened to Kelly Preston and her husband, John Travolta.
Their 16-year-old son, Jett, was found dead after a seizure, according to reports.
He was found unconscious in a bathroom at his family’s home at the Old Bahama Bay resort on Grand Bahama island on Friday morning, says The Guardian. “He was taken by ambulance to Rand Memorial hospital, in Freeport, where he was pronounced dead.”
“My heart is just broken for you and your family,” says p2pnet reader Debbie Hardesty from Louisville, Kentucky.

It is very difficult to go on even after nine years nobody understands unless they have been there. I just know the difficulty it is to loose a child and the people that are saying bad things about your family. They are very sick people. And don’t understand and are jealous of you and your family. That is so wrong. My heart is just broken for you and your family. Please don’t pay any attention to the ones that have issues.
My son meant the world to me. The pain never goes away what ever religion maybe. That is totally your business, as for me, God got me through the really hard times and I will be praying for the whole family, I am heart sick over this, when I saw it on the t.v the other night. May God bless all of you. And the saying you will just go right on I don’t believe that, I heard you both were in Paris shooting another movie and that he was attach to John’s hip and trust me that is wonderful.
What I wouldn’t give to see my son again and to hug him and tell him how much I love him although that was the last thing I said to my 19 year old son everybody has a different relationship to there children.
John and Kelly. John I know that your wife and you are going to need some leaning on and I know that family and friends will be there for you.

My Theosis is;
He was in the shower suddenly he has a sezuire, slipped, hit his head on a blunt object the wall or the ground and lost a lot of blood because the shower would of washed it away

To Mr. and Mrs. Travolta, and daughter,
I was very saddened to hear the news of Jett’s passing. No words can express the anguish you, your family and friends are going through right now. We have lost two sons, and time does have a way of healing, but not the longing for your loved ones. Embrace your religion, your family, your friends. Know that your fans, from all over the world are mourning also. God must have wanted another angel in Heaven, a young boy, and he is very picky about who He wants. Jett must have been a very extrodinary young man for God to want him so badly. May you find solace somehow, in the days and weeks to come. You were great parents to this young man, and he was a great son. May God bless you and your family and lift your spirit unto Him. You and yours are in our prayers.

My heart aches for all of you. It has been 24 years since we found our only son dead in the bathroom. I relived that horrible morning when I read about Jett. Tom was a shining light in our lives just as your son was in yours. God bless you and help you to heal and go on with your lives. You will be in my prayers.

First and foremost let me start by saying…God does not put anything on us, that we cannot bare. I am a big fan on John T. When I heard what happened to their son my heart melted. It was almost like I knew him personally. I have 3 beautiful children and I cannoit imagine the pain John & Kelly are feeling at a time like this. My heart, thoughts & prayers go out to the Travoltra family. May God Bless you all & may he keep you in his loving care.

Dear John and Kelly, My heart just broke when I heard the news about your son. I too, lost a child , and it is unbearable. Please know that my heart goes out to youand your daughter. I know people try to comfort you , but nothing seems helpful or sincere, believe me, i know. Jusy know this, I know you both loved him with every fiber of your being, and he knew it too. Losing a child is the worst kind of pain, no body should ever have to endure. Life will have meaning again, someday . I know you will get through this horrible time as a family, and that’s the way it should be. You’ll always miss him, and I hope you cry for him as you think about him over the years, it’s healthy and you will ultimately feel connected to him. Love to you and your family.Stacy Luedemann

Why does everyone think god or religion is the only thing to turn to when you loose a loved one. If it helps go for it but why do you assume everyone has the same faith as you. Obviously travolta is a scientologist this is a tragedy but I would be willing to bet you he wont be praying to your god tonite. From comments Dylan Brooke and down the word “god” is mentioned 7 times. Not trying to underwrite the tragedy here for the travoltas but by suggesting he turn to religion doesn’t seem logical to me.

My 2 year old daughter just died of a seizure on September 12, 2008. They called it SUDEP. This stands for Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy. She was also on Depakote. My daughter died in my arms. I will never forget that moment. We did all we could to recesitate her, but it was no use. I watched her leave this world and I believe that you watched your son leave this world as well. Just know that he is complete, now. He loves you and your family in the most perfect way. I tell myself this every day and ask my daughter for strength every single day. You will get through this.

Hello Mr. Travolta,
I am so sorry for your family having to relive this moment because some scum bag wants to cash out on your tragedy. I don’t know what your going through because i have am fortunate enough to have my daughters with me (all 4 of them). But the look in your face when you look at Jett’s eyes, only a father or mother could feel. That look alone brought me to tears sitting here in my office. I am a 34 yr old man, who lives for his kids, same way you live for yours.
I am truly hurt by the way his memory is being brought to light, this is very wrong and i can’t even imagine how hurtful this must be for you.
May God bless you and your family, my prayers are with you and your family. I will proay for those souls that have no idea how much emotional damage they are doing to your family.
