Dell offers iPod buy-back

p2pnet.net News:- With Sony breathing down Apple’s neck – or so Sony likes to think – Dell is telling people they can trade their old iPods in for $100 against a new Dell Digital Jukebox music player.

iPod and iPod minis cost from $249 to $499, depending on capacity.

The 15 gig Dell player starts at $199 (or $99, with the rebate) and, says Dell here, the fixed rechargeable battery runs for up to 20 hours.

This mod holds more than 7,000 songs, promises Dell, almost twice that of Apple’s 15-gigabyte iPod which costs $299, weighs 5.6 ounces agsainst Dell’s 7.6 oz 4 and holds up to 3,700 songs.
