Pssst! Want to buy shares in a jail?

p2pnet news view | Cool:- Does the guy on the right look a bit dodgy to you?

His name is Dimitri Johnson and he’s the warden of the Pirates Prison Project.

He contacted p2pnet via a comment post to tell us he’s selling shares in his jail.

Huh?

Yup.

“I live in San Francisco and Paris, France,” he says, and, “PPP is the culmination of my 50 years in entrepreneurship, and I am very excited to have you visit our site.”

He goes on »»»

Here is the story of PPP.

There once was something very powerful that everyone came to love and use all the time: the Internet. And there once was an industry that hated this Internet which everyone loved: the music industry. How dare those consumers mess up their business by going directly to the artists and each other, by sharing, by setting up their own distribution, by escaping their elaborate marketing plans, and by forming their own communities!

Then, a simple plan was hatched: let’s just monitor and control http://www.piratesprisons.com/the_videos/ people do with their beloved Internet, and disconnect the evil-doers, and everything will be alright again. No need to change the industry – change the Internet users, instead!

PPP was created because anyone not living in an igloo on the North Pole will agree that we will soon need to jail Billions of Internet users around the world – if the industry’s plan is successful. And it very well may be: who would want to oppose eager governments, leading industry figures, famous icons of rock music, and powerful lobbying organizations? Our future as perpetually criminal Internet users is all but certain. Everyone is guilty by default: since nobody will want to do without Internet access, no matter what, everyone will end up going to jail: a great business opportunity, indeed.  All of our kids, parents, friends and peers. Off to jail we go!

This trend has led PPP to foresee a gigantic business opportunity. We will without a shadow of doubt need 100s of 1000s of new prisons, everywhere, to lock up and re-educate almost every single Internet user, one after the other.  A veritable gold mine – and a very welcome way to invest your money, after everything else has turned into dust!

Since the power of the Internet and the devices that access it are growing every single day, and the newly developing countries are all going online as you read this, the PPP group anticipates the need for several Billion people to be jailed for at least a few days or even weeks at a time, or as long as it takes to re-educate them. This will include young people, children, elderly – anyone. What a fantastic new business!

In the spirit of the open Internet, we now want share this once-in-a-lifetime investment opportunity with you, and offer PPP stock to anyone that may want it,

We have made a series of videos that show why this opportunity is unique and why you should invest – watch them here; and read more about buying your stocks, reserving a cell, or denouncing a friend here.

Do good and get rich, at the same time. BUY NOW.

Sincerely, Dimitri Johnson

And before you get all upset, “Legal notice: PPP is a parody,” adds Johnson.

“It’s not for real. Have fun!”

Indeed, it read like either a scam or a joke and I didn’t think it was a scam. Too ridiculous. :)

Makes some good anti Big Media extortion points though.

    LMAO , good one Jon
I have also thought of other ideas but not as radical as this. The not so funny part is that it’s exactly what shills would like.
