Unfinished Dr Dre ‘Detox’ track online

p2pnet news view Music:- Chances of plugging this leak?

Zero percent.

That’s enigmax’s estimation as expressed on TorrentFreak.

He’s talking about the unofficial online release of unfinished Dr Dre track ‘It Could’ve Been You’ featuring R.Kelly, 50 Cent and Bishop Lamont on the “long-awaited” Detox album.

And “long-awaited” is right on. Detox was started four years ago but never  completed because,  “Dr. Dre wanted to concentrate on producing for artists that were on his Aftermath Entertainment record label,” says the Wikipedia, going on »»»

On August 6, 2008 it was reportuwas nevered that Dr. Dre and Drinks Americas made a joint venture to release a drink called “Aftermath Cognac” within the next 60 days. According to Drinks Americas, this drink would be introduced at the same time as the Detox album as part of a marketing plan.

In an interview with Loud.com, DJ Quik revealed that Dr. Dre has recorded around 400 songs for the album, and he himself had heard about 60 of them. He also revealed that Dre has been getting piano lessons from Burt Bacharach and has been reinterpreting “symphony stuff” by Frederic ChopinDetox. for

Dr. Dre recently told MTV that the album will be released after 50 Cent’s Before I Self Destruct and Eminem’s Relapse which are currently set to be released in 2009.

The unfinished track is over four minutes long in 320k and Dre is said to be “furious,” says TorrentFreak, adding:

“The song, featuring R.Kelly, 50 Cent and upcoming artist Bishop Lamont (who is reportedly ‘missing’ from this version), has started doing the rounds on various sites.

“Downloads are relatively low at the moment – in their hundreds – but this situation is likely to change quickly. At just over four minutes and in high quality 320k, the track is rough around the edges but most of the vocals seem in place.”

Stay tuned.

    Yeah, right.
    He’s “furious”

The Liars club knows exactly what publicity this will generate, and just how
fans will react to them trying to ‘plug the leak’.

Maybe someday, they will tell the truth.

  2. surfer Says:

hahahah, I agree, sales are probably down, so a ‘leak’ appears, probably from Dre himself. Seems you can learn a thing or two from the PR machine known as the MAFIAA.

THEN after a million torrents, the album will ‘appear’, amazingly finished WITH a side of Cognac.

why do you think the ‘leak’ was only 4 min? Total good call Dreddnik.

  3. Frankie Says:

The Doctor, there is no one like ya in this rap shit. Many and i mean many, many came thru you. Hope you still taking young nigaz out tha hood. That is why you are still dre.
