How would “selling” the least politically biased of the Canadian broadcast television networks help the problems with media bias in Canada?

I also think financially pitting different policies against each other is bad politics : I would personally put education (which the media plays a part in, for better or for worse — often worse) as far more critical to a healthy democracy than health care.

I want to know what the “other side” says on this to find out if there is another version of this story, or if someone at the CBC screwed up as badly as it seems they have.

It simply wants to manipulate Canadian politics with this entire exercise.

The funds would be better spent on healthcare.

I dunno…
The fact that Magna’s involved, raises the question of how “honourably” this contest would possible be operated in the first place.

I also find the notion that Belinda would have to “fight every step of the way to climb to the top” a little amusing.

Having said all that…
I will be contributing to the e-mail campaign.
The CBC and Magna must not be allowed to circumvent what they’ve started, no matter selfish motivations they have for doing so!
