Well lets see

CDMA has speeds averaging from 50 to 70 Kbps
EDGE/3G is roughly around 236.8 (for edge) up to a maxiumum of 5 megabits/second (Note: These are rough figures pulled from a quick google search)

So, bells 1x CDMA network compared to Rogers EDGE (Which 99% of their current phones support) and then their 3g (Smart Phones and some flip phones).... MAJOR difference.

Lets not forget 4G will be coming out soon... 4G will be capable of providing between 100 Mbit/s and 1 Gbit/s speeds both indoors and outdoors, with premium quality and high security.

So who's the faster network again?

@Hook:
The "standard" is measured in Mbps (Mega*bits* per second), not MBps (Megabytes ps).
However, the advertising from all providers is false, nevertheless.
They always promise an "uninterrupted and fast connection" with a bandwidth of 3MB - 16MB, of which you never see even a quarter of.

unless bell can provide close to 100 MBps [that's full speed of LAN, or computer to router to computer] they are not the fastest and never will be
with present day 300 MBps wifi cards these speeds can be achieved from house to house, the other aprox. 200 MBps is overhead and translation

"The ASC informed Bell of its findings in October, but Bell refused to recognize the decision"

(Is this not the Bell we've grown to love?)

If they want to get on the bad side of Rogers', I think that would be fine by me.
More fuel for the fire!
