The arguments are that the judge's authority is limited by some rule but some other body may or may not agree with a decision outside that authority. There was some point about only one company recording the proceedings, but there did not seem to be any explanation why that would be cause to forbid recording entirely. So the part about the rules and the laws just doesn't mean anything to me yet. And I feel generally ignorant about why a TV crew couldn't just set up in the court room in the first place? And what's the overall context? Is this a stall tactic or is there some merit to the omgtvappeal? I read the appeal and it just didn’t click with me.
