I think we need to take back some of the centrist liberals we used to have and send the ndp back to the wacko fringes were they belong.

oh you make it sound like the ndp party got 5% of the national vote when in reality it got almost 21% the liberals in end got about 29% and the conservatives about 38%

so the NDP base is almost as large as the liberals and when you consider i know lots a people that strategically voted liberal in some riding’s to try and unseat a conservative.

had the coalition took place or took out the budget a speech to the GG would have been like this, we goto the polls and not much changes and you wasted millions or give us a try. Stable govt for 18 months then.

He is as warm as a steel post in Winnipeg in January, but in my opinion, he’s doing the right thing. The Liberals need to build their strength from the ground-up, and not rely on partnerships with parties from the far-left. Too many centrist Liberal voters would rather stomach the Conservatives than support Jack Layton’s party.

On another note, has Jack Layton actually DONE anything besides slam everyone else? His antics are getting old.
