Just yesterday Cox cut off services due to some peer to peer files on my computer. Not knowing why I couldn't connect after about 4 hours of trying, (thinking a problem was my computer) I finally got a notice from Cox that they shut down our services and would not reconnect untill I got some files cleared out of my computer. This I did. Still no service. Then finally gave up and deleted my bittorrent program. Then, and only then did they reconnect my service. Is this lawful? No, I am not into anything like porn or politics and such, just plain mild entertainment. I don't mind the fact that I need to watch closer what files I make use of, but the invasion of privacy is what bothers me the most.
