Google vs Googles from Goo

p2pnet.net News:- The Googles from Goo and their Gooship say the other Googles is not on.

The real Googles, says Stelor Productions which owns it, "is an educationally based, environmentally friendly and scientifically-conscious animation and live-action hybrid targeted to children in the 2-10 year range.

There’s a "significant domestic and international parental demand for non-violent educationally-based children’s characters," says Stelor here.

Googles, based in Darnestown, Maryland, has filed a notice of opposition with the US Patent and Trademark Office against the other Google, and a petition to cancel Google’s existing registration for the mark ‘Google’ for e-mail and search engine services, says the Washington Business Journal here.

The case is likely to eventually end up in court, says the Search Engine Guide here, adding:

"Google faced a similar suit earlier this year when it went up against adult search engine Booble.com, which used a similar name and logo for its Web site. Booble.com ultimately prevailed due to its claim that it served as a parody of the popular Google search engine."

What a blast ! Googles from Goo.

How about Yahooglers from Yahoogle? Or Hotmailers from ….. wherever ?

    hehe

  2. Reader's Write Says:

Actually the Googles from Goo have been around a lot longer than the popular search engine. They hold the trademark for the Googles name and are only asking that Google not infringe on their market space of Children’s entertainment (target audience of kids 2-10).

  3. Reader's Write Says:

The Googles from Goo were created by Steven Silvers, a convicted cocaine dealer currently living in Florida.
