“An unnamed European buyer bought the picture, which had been expected to sell for up to $15,000, according to Christie’s auction house,” says the Associated Press.
“Madonna, then known as Madonna Louise Ciccone, was a dancer trying to make ends meet when she answered a newspaper ad seeking a nude model.
She may have earned a paltry $25 for the 1979 shott, says the story.
Another Madonna photograph from the auction, “this time by Helmut Newton and also from Playboy,” had a top bid of $18,750, says Rolling Stone.
Unphknbelievable.
Those stories of an economic crisis must be untrue.

She’s still hot! She worked the media and I highly doubt she slept with all those guys, but simply had them say or imply it to help her sell more albums.
