Kid Rock ‘craft beer’
p2pnet news view Music | Advertising:- If a company in Chicago has its way, you’ll soon be able to hoist a brew not to Kid Rock, but of Kid Rock.
“The Michigan Economic Growth Authority approved Tuesday a state tax credit valued at $722,957 so that the Michigan Brewing Company, a Webberville-based brewer of craft beers, can produce a new product line: a craft beer for musician Kid Rock,” says the Detroit Free Press.
“The company plans to invest $7 million in the project, which is expected to create 394 new Michigan jobs, including 161 directly by the company.”
The news isn’t, though, all that new.
“Some artists have their own clothing lines or fragrances, but KID ROCK doesn’t want to get that fancy,” said a post on KidRock.com last year. “Billboard reports that Kid is looking into launching his own line of beer and cigars,” it says, adding:
“He explains, ‘I like [branding opportunities] when it’s something I’m into, and I’m definitely into beer and cigars.”

Not only but also, “Everyone knows about Jessica Simpson’s daisy dukes body and healthy lifestyle,” said a press release, quoted by p2pnet in 2008.
That made her the, “perfect candidate to front a beer for ’stallions’ and ‘fillies’,” we said, still drawing from the statement, which said a brewing firm was, “looking for a global icon that represented its core values: healthy living, individuality, and personal responsibility”.
Thus, “Jessica Simpson, an entrepreneur in her own right, was the obvious choice’.”

Do they realize that Kid Rock’s biggest hits were nothing more than rip-offs from other musicans?
Since when was inbreeding considered healthy living?
