For whom The Bell (Instinct) Tolls

p2pnet news view Freedom | Mobiles:- This is what happens and when you bite the hand that feeds you.

It’s no surprise Bell Canada tried to pass a shoddy product off on its users, it holds them in such supreme contempt.

What IS surprising, though, is: it thought it could get away with it.

Under discussion this time around isn’t its practice of screwing customers by censoring their broadband accounts under the pretext of managing bandwidth.

Instead, it’s the Not-So-Smart phone from (Not-so-Sympatico) Bell Canada, described yesterday in Ottawa Gal’s analysis of events as a dog  – arf arf.

The story hasn’t yet been picked up by the mainstream media. But it will be. And in the meanwhile, it’s inspired some folk-art, always a sure sign something has caught the public eye.

The pic on the right is from Mattman911 on Samsung’s Samsung Instinct forum, and with it is this post »»»

After the weeks we have spent together complaining about our phone attempting to get a proper update for it … I have taken it upon myself to make a difference. I figured there must be an easier way to resolve our situation instead of all of us complaining to Bell and wasting our valuable time. So this just in, I have come up with the best idea. Drum roll please!!! Remember that “apple eater” ad from Bell that we all so much like to reference when complaining to Bell? Well I have decided to take my “excellent” (aka. questionable) art skills and change the ad to better suit the phone.

There we go guys, problem solved…now wasn’t that easy!

Sarcasm^^^^for those of you who don’t pick up on it very easy.

So please see my finished product below…Download for full effect. Possibly post one on each street corner because guys, on a serious note,  we need to stand behind Bell and promote there Latest and Greatest product!

NOT!

The cartoon on the right is from and was found by someone at the University of New Brunswick, faculty of engineering.

It’s on http://www.cartoonstock.com/ and appears to be by  THO (can’t make out the signature).

We hope he doesn’ t mind us using it.

In the meanwhile, we understand from reliable sources that Ottawa Gal’s story reached to the desks of those in the higher echelons of Ding-Dong Canada.

Repeatedly.

Meanwhile, you know For  whom The Bell  Tolls …
