Terrorists blow up music stores

p2pnet news view Music| Movies:- Hollywood reckons movie pirates are responsible for keeping terrorists and organised crime in business.

But is it the other way around with the corporate music industry?

Taliban militants blew up shops selling music and DVDs in northwest Pakistan overnight, police said today, according to Agence France-Presse.

It didn’t say if the militants were card-carrying members of the local RIAA militia or if the stores were selling DVDs which infringed Vivendi Universal, EMI, Warner Music and Sony Music copyrights.

But, “An improvised explosive device planted in a market selling music and DVDs in Takhtbhai town blew up 16 shops overnight,” the story has police official Fazal Mabood saying, blaming Taliban insurgents.

“Islamist militants have bombed scores of entertainment shops across the country’s northwest in recent years, charging that music and films are contrary to the teachings of Islam,” it says.

Of course, corporate ‘product’ isn’t only contrary to the teachings of Islam.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mp3.com

Funny how mp3.com actually had a “business model” in place that actually paid artists using it, hmm?

  4. Reader's Write Says:

If it were funny, but it is not.

If the korporate media are in 20th century, these muzzies are in the MIDDLE AGE and are getting stronger and stronger.

  5. Schmock Says:

What’s so funny about these “religious” fascists who think they can rule about other people using deadly weapons and limited minds? They are nothing but selfish murderer. Middle age? Hah. Far beyond STONE AGE! Hitler and his nazi snotzies where done in a couple of years (big thanks for that from germany!). What’s the problem with these fascists?!?

Great language skills people….BLOWED IT UP? BLOWED IT UP REAL GOOD? I think the correct word to use here is BLEW IT UP.

As for the story, the Taliban are a bunch of radicals. They embrace traditional Islam and rule it with an iron fist. Just look at what they did in Afghanistan before the United States kicked their butts out of that country. Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taliban for more information.

  9. Reader's Write Says:

They must have had enought of Britney slute.

Let’s lock together what is left of the music parasites with what is left of the Taliban terrorists.

After few hours we will throw away the remainding pieces!
