Inviting the world to listen in
p2pnet news view | P2P | Music:- Thanks to the Net, not only are there thousands of citizen journalists online showing the lamescream media where it’s really at, there are equal numbers of amateur musicians who, before the Web came along, had little or no chance of sharing their music in any meaningful way.
Now anyone with a Net account can put up a page, post their tunes, and invite the world to listen in.
For me, sharing is where it’s at, and it’s where it’s always been at. It got me online in the first place, and I don’t mean mp3s on the P2P networks, although I have zero problem with that.
“Just before Christmas in 2008, I treated myself to Arturia which comes with Cubase AI4, ” I posted.
Bush Baby (see below) was the first effort, and You are the One (also below) my second, which I mentioned here.
“i … hope you put it under cc so that people like me can download it and remix it and send it back to you
,” said devious204 in a Reader’s Write.
“It is under CC,” I said, “so help yourself.”
As I said in my first post, “The only provision is: I’d like to hear what you do with it. Feel free to do the same with the other pieces …”
Cheers! And all the best …
Jon

I like the 1st.
You know… the one called “cuban traffic”… I heard this one before, maybe a month or so ago while looking up some Cuba trip info for a friend. Had no attributes from what I recall.
2nd time I see it and hear it.

^^ If it really was Cuban Traffic, they didn’t tell me about it, whoever ‘they’ were. But what else is new.
I wrote it six or seven years ago. Maybe longer, even,
Cheers!
