Or so the neighbours say.

Home is a multi-lot compound next to Bluewater Road, and that’s the way it’s been for more than two decades, says the Los Angeles Times.

But, “Residents contend that the nighttime sea breeze sends a noxious odor from a portable toilet on Dylan’s property wafting into their homes,” says the story, going on, “The stench has made members of one family physically ill and forced them to abandon their bedrooms on warm nights, they claim.”

“It’s a scandal — ‘Mr. Civil Rights’ is killing our civil rights,” the story has said David Emminger, whose home is directly behind the porta-potty which is, it says, “apparently intended for use by employees”.

Emminger and his wife, “have installed five industrial-size fans in their front yard in an attempt to blow the odor back at Dylan,” says the LA Times.

But the answer definitely ain’t blowin’ in the wind.

The couple says the fans are, “no match for the ocean breeze that sweeps across the singer’s land,” it adds.

Dylan didn’t respond to inquiries about the toilet, and neither did his New York-based lawyer.
