Aussie government: you’ve been warned
p2pnet news view Freedom | P2P:- p2pnet has just had a tweet from anonEFP on Twitter, signifying the appearance of a new online force for freedom of speech.
And it doesn’t bode well for Australia’s Kevin Rudd government which is seeking to impose online censorship.
anonEFP?
“We find the censorship of what your people – a free people – are allowed to see abhorent,” says a YouTube video.
But wait. Anon? Like, the group that plagues the cult of Scientology?.
“Leaders of Australia, you have been warned,” says the voice-over.
Drop the censorship plans or, “The faceless masses that exist without borders on an Internet will rise against you in support of your citizens which you try to restrain.”
Adds the mechanised voice:
“We are anonymous. We are legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget.”
Australia today.
France and New Zealand tomorrow?
Stay tuned.

i always get a little smile and a shiver when another “anonymous” threat vid pops up online, would turn into an ear to ear grin if the masses were to ever truly mobilize against governments like this
March 21st, 2009 at 10:28 pm
It’s time to mobilize against governments
March 21st, 2009 at 10:32 pm
“Before you can think about security against the government, you need to know law enforcmentâs capabilities and limitations. The government has extraordinary abilities â itâs the best-funded adversary youâll ever face.”

remember they are an american organization and that there are reaospns that americans for isntance let drug dealers come to canuck shores then they get popped
and get more time in prisons
laws have differing subtleties
know your regions….
and remember they are less likely in any actual demonstration to arrest or harrass larger groups
the press on that makes them look like nazis they are…
