Apple boycotts Apple show
p2pnet.net News:- Could it be that Apple’s (Jobs’) success is going to its (Jobs’) head?
Apple Stews Over Beantown Expo, says Cynthia L. Webb in her Washington Post Filter column here, asking
"Is a trade show dedicated to Apple products missing something at its core if Apple doesn’t show up?"
Apple Computer was notable by its absence at the Macworld Conference and Expo in Boston because, "Apple was unhappy with organizer IDG World Expo’s decision to move the show to Beantown from the Big, uh, Apple," says Webb.
Internetnews.com’s Colin C. Haley puts it even more forcefully.
"The computer company is boycotting the trade show," he says. "Meanwhile, an IDG World Expo executive told internetnews.com that the company is already booking the new waterfront Boston Convention & Exhibition Center for Macworld in 2005."
