p2pnet news view P2P:- p2pnet survives on a month by month basis, literally, and several times in the past I’ve missed out on what may have been highly remunerative opportunities because, doubter that I am, I thought they looked just a little dodgy.

But somehow,  they didn’t ring true.

Last week, however, I had another missive, this time from Caroline Jabah in Darfur (right), and it plucked my heart-strings, so here it is (see the bottom of the story for header details) »»»

Dearest, My name is Caroline Jabah. I’m in search of somebody whom i can do business with and I come across your contact in my search for a reputable individual that could assist me in doing that. It might be a surprise to you but i want you to take me serious for i am an honest person. I don’t know you properly but I believe you will understand my stand. I’m a lady of 24 years, from Darfur Region of Sudan . I’m average in hight, born in Darfur. presently i am residing in the refugee camp as a result of the death of my family by the rebels last year. My parents and my only brother were killed by rebels in our residence house in the capital city Darfur. My late father Engr.Jabna Gabi Dickson, was the Chairman, RUGY & GAB Oil and Gas Company a private servicing firm in Darfur before The brutal killing of my mother and my father, one kid brother took place one early morning by the rebels as a result of the civil war that is going on until now in Sudan.It is only me that is alive now and I managed to make my way to where am leaving now in a refugee camp here in Oakam North, Before the death of my late father he deposited some amount of money the sum of 7.3 million US dollars in a Bank in my name as the next of inheritance and I have the document that covers inheritance. Now I’m planning to claim the money and use it for investment outside this place and to see if i will be able to leave this place for a new life. I need your help in other to get the money transferred to you pending my coming over there If you would accept me I would be happy to relate to you all information about my intention and the money. Thanks very much for your response to my mail. How is everything going over there? Hopefully you are doing well today. As I told you in my mail, my name is Caroline Jabna. a 24 year old girl. I’m a Sudanese (from Sudan) But presently residing in a refugee camp in Senegal as a result of war that is still going on in my country today. I’m average in size about 5.7 ft tall and 57 kg weight. here is too hard and there is hunger too. we only feed once a day unless one receives a personal help from elsewhere. The only person who shows concern is Reverend Peter Malo the reverend minister in charge of Christ the Savior Mission here in the camp. I use his computer to communicate you. I haven’t phoned, or answered, but I’ll definitely be sending her the url to this post, and I’ll also ask her what kind of money she needs to facilitate the transaction.

I know many readers are more than just a little interested in finding ways to profitably distribute music online and I’m wondering if one or two of you may be interested in becoming involved in this little venture.

And it’ll only be fair to also pass it on to Mitch ‘The Don’ Bainwol and Scary Sherman over at the RIAA. Should be right up their alley(s), don’t you think?

I’ll be monitoring comments to this story — we  wouldn’t want anything which might alarm Caroline, would we, now?
