Need a 3D mouse?
p2pnet.net News:- Need a cheap, three dimensional pointing device. Then you’ll need to look no further than Neil Fraser’s DIY 3D mouse page here.
On it, you’ll find blow-by-blow instructions on how to turn bits from those various meece you’ve got lying around into a "computer peripheral which can be used to indicate a point in three dimensions".
Fraser was a programmer in Ottawa, Canada who five years ago moved to Scotland where he founded Digital Routes (now merged with Data Converters).
He still runs Moo Canada, eh?, an "online community of a thousand young Canadians" and …
… not at all incidentally, he also has a couple of interesting points to make about Flash which, Macromedia would have us believe, is all over the place.
Go here for Part II.
