Yes, I am one of those who no longer wish to post here, reply here, or send Jon something I find of interest, due to the Ontario judge ruling. :(

However, a year ago (or so) when Jon went on vacation and needed someone to mod the site, he asked if I would do it while he was away. I agreed. Myself and my husband did it from work & home.

Having access as Admin, we both saw the same thing: post by 127.0.0.1. Reply by 127.0.0.1. Spam by 127.0.0.1. Held for moderation by 127.0.0.1 and some other stuff by 127.0.0.1

Jon (p2pnet.net) really doesn't log IP's.

My hubby is the privacy freak, runs a few bots to check for open proxies to use, and checks for exploitable systems (I have stories to tell that was shown to me. Trust me I saw stuff that freaked me. Example: we had the host of transportation.us.gov and many other US gov hosts and many more things I don't wish to state here.)

We have posted here with those IP's and will maybe continue to do so.

I can tell you that what was said is pure BS. He/we can post as we wish without being blocked, even if we relay via safety.transportation.us.gov

Bell Canada will log this with their DPI though. If we can encrypt and use diff exploitable hosts, and post here, you can a well.

Conclusion:
The "SHILL" is full of shit.

//
Note: I know nothing. I only saw what I saw and commented on what I saw.

fuq, glad I didn't hold my breath (not that it would make a difference these days). :P

So we can all reliably state that what the troll said in the other topic about how p2pnet.net requires personal info to view this site is fulla shit.

FULLA SHIT! (had to yell it ;) )

I can block everything and still post here.

Sarah, TY for bring this up, and you are wrong. Unless you prove otherwise. I would test anything you state, since I'm all into this and it has my interest. But... so far.... heh

The only conclusion I can, in all honestly, make is that:
1) the troll works for McAfee
2) works for Google
3) provoking a response
4) someone who doesn't know how a computer works
5) just a troll just trying to put this site down.

I already know people who don't want to contribute anymore due to the recent Ontario judge ruling.

Don't make it worse with your bullshit and lies. Because that's just what it is.

@comcast,

Also, the cookie can be blocked, as I just did, and the "name" won't saved (i'm testing 123).

As I said in the previous topic, that Jon links to in this topic, I can block or spoof most everything and have no issue at all and even still comment.

I'm still waiting on that "readers write" to prove me wrong and tell me again how p2pnet requires everything under the sun to even look at the page.

Should I hold my breath?
