		<description>It&#039;s too bad that the news and entertainment industries are in bed together. The media conglomerates like Disney, Viacom , Fox and AOL Time Warner all own news outlets, and unfortunately most people get their news from TV, so we can&#039;t just turn the page when bombarded with the usual fluff.

Just to list one example, on CBS news, they have run a lot of stories about their own CBS television shows (&#039;Survivor&#039; certainly comes to mind) have profiled on 6o minutes books by their subsidiary Simon &amp; Schuster, as well stories about Paramount movies. 

Since they can get away with it, why not promote their own products and call it &quot;news&quot;? Ingenious, huh?</description>
