Full length mobile video

p2pnet.net News:- Britain’s ‘3′ dedicated 3G network says it’s offering the UK’s first live video mobile news and entertainment channel.

“When you press the Triangle key you’ll go straight to Today on 3,” says the company here. “Simply scroll down and click on a picture to go straight to the video … It doesn’t cost a thing, and you’ll only be charged when you choose a story with a price on it.”

Britain’s Inquirer says 3 is offering “full length” rather than special mobile phone cuts, “thanks to a deal with BMG which boasts artists such as Dido, Outkast, Britney Spears, and Justin Timberlake.

“Due to launch on 2nd August, 3’s subscribers will be able to both watch the latest music video releases 4-6 weeks in advance of the official single launch,” says the story, adding, “The videos will be priced at £1.50 (about $2.70) and significantly can be either streamed directly or download to the handset. 3 will also offer an ‘all-you-can eat’ package for £10 (about $18)per month.”
