Goodbye Corner Gas :(

That was in 2004 and the Corner Gas folks will be pumping for the last time at 9:30 pm ET on CTV and ‘A’ (ctv.ca for local broadcasts).
“Unapologetically Canadian, and set in a tiny prairie town rather than a big city, Corner Gas boasted an array of oddball characters played by an outstanding cast,” says the Toronto Star.
“Prime ministers Paul Martin and Stephen Harper had cameo roles, and guest stars included everyone from Lloyd Robertson to Kiefer Sutherland.”
“Watching the show for the last 6 seasons has been a fun time for me!!” – says countryking1 on the CG Goodbye page.
“I truck for a living and ran South into the USA … and drove through Dog River many times … I hope the do re-runs of the show starting with the first season to the end …”
He won’t be alone in that.

What a shame, a show filled with manifold layers of humour, from the slapstick to the sublime, obviously much of it lost of certain demographics. Something truly original and differnt has been lost.

That sucks
At least this show was enjoyable to watch amongst all the American produced garbage and the Canadian copy cat shows.
I am sure there will be another reality show that is far from reality that will fill its slot. Just another reason to take me away from mainstream entertainment.
YEA room for CSI Toronto cause the world really needs more of that crap.
YEA room for Mexican Idol cause we need more of that crap too.
God I hate TV, good shows like this stop to make room for more bullshit shows.

look how much is going into cop shows and stupid hollywood talent shows.
YA see form what i also notice is how more and more foreign actors are getting roles LIKE hollywood is outsourcing that as well.

Battle star galactica while great at special effects COMPLETELY LOST THE ORIGINAL.
ONLY REASON IT GETS ANY RATINGS is fact that all the other sci fi crap was crap.
IF they had ot compete with SG1 say form season 1 thru 7 ill bet SG1 would win, heck id rather watch space 1999 some days.
Heroes started good BUT they killed it with a massive long break.

Well had a look at Caprica and i dub the nudity that was the only thing interesting will be hard ot keep doing to keep an audience, not to mention after creating the 1st cylon how do you top that? stay tuned cause i’m not.
looks more like combo of Beverly hills 90210 with fancy special effects here and there.
MIND you it picked up near end. Ill give another ep a go and see. the main guy that made the cylon his wife just reminds me a Kara Thrace and honestly i never liked here completely.
