Fahrenheit’s Cuban exposure
p2pnet.net News:- Michael Moore’s F911 – Fahrenheit 9/11 to the uninitiated – aired on Cuban tv.
So is that enough to put it out of the running for an Oscar?
It doesn’t appear so.
“The film that was illegally shown on Cuban state-run TV was from an unauthorized, pirated copy,” says a statement issued by Lions Gate Films, IFC Entertainment and the Fellowship Adventure Group, quoted on zap2it here.
“The anti-Bush documentary played on Cuban TV during primetime on Thursday, July 29, fueling the distrust of the American government felt by many Cubans,” says the site.
However, F911 still qualifies for the Oscar documentary competition and it’s interesting that the movie continues to generate so much heat.
It’s now in the $100 million club and even had Spidey scrambling
Mooreover (ahem) Moore has no problem with people sharing it online.
Moore to come.

Of course Mr Moore’s Hollyweird distributer will probably sue Cuba for about 462 billion dollars, in the 9th Distict Federal Court (their home court). If they play their cards right, Hollyweird could actually own the Cuban cigar business. hmm…MOORE”S next movie “FIDEL AND ME”
