Flash-mobs on a global scale
p2pnet news view Freedom | P2P:- Said the first two lines to a p2pnet post yesterday:
“You don’t fool with the Net or supporters of online P2P freedom, Vivendi Universal, EMI, Warner Music and Sony Music’s IFPI today learned.
“Having been appropriately placed on the same level as the equally hated and despised Cult of Scientology, it’s now recovering from an organised DDoS attack.”
However, DDOSing is, “really a bad idea, more like a child throwing a quick tantrum and forgotten equally as fast, I wish i could speak to those guys and get something more constructive out of all of that computing power ” said Ryan in a Reader’s Write, ” also very very illegal. Such a waste.”
But, “There are no ‘those guys’ behind ‘anonymous’,” responded Henry Emrich, going on »»»
It`s basically the ultimate flash mob: people put out ideas, and if people are interested, they do their own thing with it.
The only reason Chanology was interesting is because enough people hate the Church of Scientology that they felt like being involved with the Chanology brand.
Anonymous is designed (if you can even apply that term) that way.
I mean, come on — what real common party line can you get from:
1. Chanology (attack on Church of Scientology)
2. Hacktivism against that racist guy
3. Seizure-bombing epilepsy-awareness website.
4. Raiding Habbo Hotel online-world with Samuel-Jackson lookalikes
5. Defacing hiphop-related websites.
6. Unleashing a rain of penises on Anshe Chung`s press conference in Second Life.
You can`t, because there IS no organization there, in the conventional sense of the term.
It`s even more amorphous than the leaderless-resistance structure used by dissident Right-wing groups in the U.S. back in the 1990s â this isn`t even Cells, and there`s no command-structure.
Just a bunch of anonymous chatboards, encyclopedia dramatica, Ebaums world, and whatever else somebody decides to use.
That is also why media coverage related to Anonymous is total bullshit.
You can`t stop anonymous because it`s not an organization in the conventional sense of the term.
It`s ad-hoc, emergent, not just de-centralized but ANTI-CENTRAL (if that`s even a word).
Read the articles related to them at wikipedia and encyclopedia dramatica â I see anti-organizations such as Anonymous as the wave of the future, really: flash-mobs on a global scale.

Denizens of the world, in this modern age we have developed the technology to be able to come from the farthest corners of the world to our nearest neighbors and stand together ,Interact and redefine our very cultures.
It is now that we must join in one struggle or break apart, and risk falling victim those who would control every artistic impulse.
We spread the Seeds of Liberty in hopes that you`ll consider your own personal freedoms , when we ask for ours and those affected – EDITED OUT -
We do not break laws because we are criminals; we are criminals because spreading information has become a crime.
We, the people, are no longer separated by gender, creed, or color.divided only by the artificial lines which now strangle us, prevent us from advancing together as one. We are brought together by our ability to communicate and share, despite these artificial lines drawn in the sand by those who would have us denied the right to be free. We have a message for them though. The internet is not the beach.
We comunicate and share everything together, and despite their efforts to tie these lines around us we have always managed to escape them. That is until recently. A famous group of individuals, having the stance and the prowess to stand up to this greed infested scourge, breaking the lines which threaten to hold us away, have been apprehended. It is now our turn, to save our freedom, because surely if these individuals, the first line of defence of the denial of freedom by the corporations which would have us forever separated and powerless have fallen, then the lines and constrictions have no-one to stop them. This threat is global. it WILL affect everyone who uses the internet, whether you like it or not this oppression has knocked on your door, and demanded you submit.
What we do is no different that consuming media from a library rather than paying artificially bloated prices.
We refuse to submit to the lines generated by companies which would have us in a monopoly.
If you wish to be free, to stop this denial of basic rights. Join us in this act of defiance, wherever you are and rejoice, knowing that you join your brothers and sisters in fighting for a future where we can share what we want, and be free.
Stay tuned.

“also very very illegal. Such a waste.â
When there is no justice there is nothing such thing as illegal.
This beeing say DDOS attack is not useful unless you can maintain it for months. This is not impossible to achieve but as not been done yet.

Cats are not social species. That does not mean that they don’t care for each others. It mean that they don’t have hierarchy. Domestic cats can sometime form temporary packs that can last few days to a week or two during with they look for food and hunt together. I have see this hapen. Anonymous is a similar phenomena.
This is this phenomena that just delivered a deadly blow to the cult of scientology by exposing their scam to a large public. Scientology was very vunerable to this because their business was based almost exclusively on lies and deceptions. Anonymous allowed to reach to many victims and get them out of this mess. Scientology is now shrinking like snow under the sun.

Kudos, we have no leadership, the way you get involved is right place, right time, right thread. IFIA is a big group and we are small, yet when we are together, our small knives are able to hamstring any giant, be ye cult or general oppressive douche nozzle.
