fffff FAT! (And liking it ;p)

p2pnet news Cool | Open Source:- “What is FAT?” – asks the caption to the top pic, continuing, “Hard to say but somehow I feel it lies somewhere between these two images.”

“What being in FAT means to me, a poem by borna sammak & bun-b of UGK,” says the caption to pic number two.

So? What is it?

It’s short for Free Art and Technology, and it’s, “Dedicated to enriching the public domain one mutha-fuckin LOL at a time,” says the FAT site.

In a little more detail »»»

The Free Art and Technology Lab is an organization dedicated to enriching the public domain through the research and development of creative technologies and media.

The entire FAT network of artists, engineers, scientists, lawyers, musicians and Bornas are committed to supporting open values and the public domain through the use of emerging open licenses, support for open entrepreneurship and the admonishment of secrecy, copyright monopolies and patents.

“Release early, often and with rap music,” it says.

“This is Notorious R&D.

“The contents of the site are all in the public domain.

“You may enjoy, use, modify, snipe about and republish all F.A.T. media and technologies as you see fit.”

FAT people.

Excellent! :)
