I think one of the issues with SP2 is with the limit on the number of out going connections that can be opened in a short space of time. Microsoft say it’s to reduce the spread of certain worms, using Sasser as an example, but this causes issues with legitimate software that tries to open several connections at once, such as P2P software.

I think Bearshare are beginning to report problems and over in the land of Shareaza, we’re still not sure.

not surprised about the warning. in SP1 some vendors were recommending that people uninstall it. I know this SP had problems with S3 Graphics cards in one of the releases (RC2 I believe). Doing funky things with video playback etc

I’ve already encountered problems – I cant install it!!!! I get an error “can not save atapi.sys” (in system32/drivers) when SP2 tries to back up my drivers during SP2 installation …

I have been using SP2 (RTM) since it came out on MSDN (~2 days ago).
No problems so far.

No issues here…..on my XP Pro Box……..
