New Tech and Working Women
p2pnet.net News:- UK housewives are under pressure from modern-age technology such as mobile phones and some women suffer from the "frantic life syndrome" because of it.
Moreover, 12% of women surveyed in a Good Housekeeping magazine survey complain that since having their mobile "my life is no longer my own," says a story in the Western Mail here.
Research for the nagazine found 30% of working females have "regularly been driven to exhaustion because of work and home commitments," says the report, adding:
"Some 29% of working women said they could not live without their mobile phone for more than a day. This increases to 56% among 16 to 24-year- olds."
