Just saw this. So sad. I’ve been following Fravia’s site ever since the days of his +Orc pages. I too have learned so much from him and his extraordinary wit and wisdom will be missed.

Many thanks Fravia, your greatness and your memory will live on in the collective consciousness of the web, in the history of the development of the Internet that will one day be written, and most importantly of all, in the great worldwide uprising to come in which the expected slaves outwit their self appointed “masters” and turn the tables on them. Something that will make the French revolution seem trivial by comparison.

And it will all happen here, unstoppable, because people such as you had the foresight and intelligence to point out the inequity of forcing the commercial paradigms of the past onto the individual empowering technologies of the future.
