A a non American that respect thinking Americas, here is my take on America as it relates to this copyright issue.

The purpose of copyright, to quote the Amercan Constitution, is “To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries”.

Then we musk ask ourselves who’s position contributes more to the progress of science and useful (???) arts, FSF (by promoting free distribution) or RIAA (by objecting to free distribution)?

Only a money hungry fool would not know or understand the answer.

The problem is money hungry (a fool’s fixed state of mind) fools run the country at almost every level be it political, government, industry, education, health, judiciary, etc. The fools ruined the country by making enemies all over, which led the country to senseless wars at Vietnam, Irak, Afghanistan and other minor wars which in turn created more enemies. Then the fools also ruined the economy by allowing the wall street and the related lobbying mafia to run the country.

It boils down to Fools love of Money versus Love of Country.

By the way, is the mostly IP crap produced in all countries and in many RIAA produced recordings useful art?
I say no. Crap is useless crap. Unfortunately the fools do not understand what I am talking about.
