Pearl Jam’s Jeff Ament mugged, injured
p2pnet news view Music | Crime:- Pearl Jam bass player Jeff Ament was hurt when he was was mugged outside the Southern Tracks Recording studios in Atlanta, Georgia.
He also had his passport, $3,000 in cash and $4,320 worth of goods stolen, says Rolling Stone.
According to police, “the incident occurred April 27 outside Southern Tracks, where the Seattle-based band is completing its ninth studio album, says AJC.com, adding:
“Ament and another man were jumped by three assailants waiting in the woods, police said.
“Wearing black masks and brandishing knives, the attackers smashed the windows of a rented Jeep and demanded money.”
The mugging was captured on a surveillance camera, “but no arrests have been made,” says Rolling Stone.
