hallelujah. a great big thanks and props, homeslice, to any and all respective dieties watching from on high for at least this one small symbol that some sense of democracy exists in this land. no matter where you stand in ‘big biz/industry versus the consumers/little ppl,’ this is a nice display, even if it is either temporary or just token, that certain models of trade can and do change. and yeah, cary, hilary, and the rest of you mouthing words about ‘artists not getting their due…’ feh…what jokes. sitting atop pyramids and lording over ‘owning content’ while squawking about ’stealing from the artists.’ a lot of us artists know exactly what you guys make vs. what the creators of the content actually get, and you barons and nobility of the respective media fiefdoms are witnessing what happens when the people who own the trade routes are suddenly sidestepped and become relics. heard a cutup thang/audiocollage recently, and can’t remember exactly (think it might’ve been Negativland?) with the last quote in the song coming from the 1936 flick ‘The Petrified Forest,’…a perfect little ditty for the CEO’s to think about as they keep playing their fiddles and mouthing such profound, sincere concern for the artists… ;P

Its not our fault we’ve been price gouging for 30 years now, we deserve it because we went to a community college to get a degree in business economics for 2 years. You damn pirates, These “Musicians” and “Actors” Deserve the 30 million we pay them to show up and say “Ill be back”. Where would the economy be without the world of media? By downloading and uploading, what you’re doing is theft. Nevermind the fact that i cant even afford lube anymore, damn shit is so expensive. You need to stop stealing, and pay us the 21.95$ for a “music” cd of wonderful talented members of society like “Ludacris” singing about narcotics, killing authority and raping white girls leaving them the gift that keeps on giving, and the felon Puff Daddy, Excuse me, P. Diddy, he took that name after his rap sheet got so big that no one wanted to deal with him, you know how confused the public is, theyd never notice
Now if you’ll excuse me, Michael just got back from the pet store with some gerbils and an ounce of heroin from the street vendor.
