Phil Spector waits for sentencing

p2pnet news view | Crime:- Corporate music producer Phil Spector, 69, last month convicted of murdering actress Lana Clarkson, could be 87 before he’s released.

Spector once forced Dee Dee Ramone to play bass at gunpoint, said Times Online.

He fired a gun in the studio while he was recording John Lennon’s album Rock ‘n’ Roll,

And he showed his wife a gold, glass-topped coffin and, “told her that she’d die there if she ever left him for a member of the Rolling Stones,” said the story.

Found guilty of second-degree murder, he faces at least 18 years in jail, said the New York Times.

Now, “Because the conviction carries a mandatory 15 years to life in prison, the judge’s only choice will be whether to tack on three, four or 10 additional years to the minimum sentence for the use of a firearm,” says the Los Angeles Times, going on:

“The prosecution has recommended four more years; the defense has asked for three. The judge’s ruling will determine whether Spector is first eligible for parole at age 77, 78 or 87.”

Spector’s publicist says Spector was, “very disappointed” with the verdict, says the story.

  3. Reader's Write Says:

All these RIAA/MPAA lawers, judges, criminals and parasites should go to jail!

We shall and we will mopup all the piece of shits left free from our societies because we can not afford them.

  4. Reader's Write Says:

Didn’t know that about Dee Dee Ramone. Phil’s lone supporter in the courtroom was Marky Ramone who was outed by Joey Ramone on the Howard Stern show that Marky wears a wig too. it would be funny if there was a prison sanctioned wig like the way you wear a prison jumpsuit.
