Apple has added number of “popular” TV shows to its iTunes store in Canada, “significantly increasing the amount of video content available to Canadian iPod and iPhone users,” says Telecommunications Industry News.

Single episodes in standard definition cost $2.50, while high-definition episodes cost $3.50, says the CBC, adding:
A “full season” of a program in standard definition is $50, while “seasons in high-definition” cost $70.00, it adds.
Like, is Apple serious. Will people –even Appolytes — stand still for that knd of rip-off?
