Scientologists, WWII Star of David spoof
p2pnet news view | Freedom:- Before you go any further, I’VE BEEN HAD !!!
I’m the victim of a spoof article on the genuine news that the Wikipedia has banned Scientology.
My only excuse is: just like the corporate movie and music industries, virtually anything, no matter how bizarre, can be potentially attributed to this organisation, and I believed it, as did the person who told me about it.
I’d never heard of Rant & Rave, from whence the claim originally came and, I blushingly admit I should have seen the light because of the title. But I even said it was appropriately named.
What can I say? — except the spoof has at least served a useful purpose: it’s once again drawn attention to the despicable cult of Scientology and I sincerely hope I haven’t offended Jewish readers, or anyone else (except Herr Miscavige), with this post.
With apologies …
Jon Newton

Here’s the story »»»
Billionaire Scientology leader David Miscavige says he’s “outraged” because the Wikipedia has barred the cult.
“Any and all CoS IP addresses are effectively banned on the Wikipedia, which in turn spells the end of the cult’s use of it as a configurable propaganda and indoctrination engine,” said p2pnet yesterday.
Now, in the cult’s appropriately named Rant & Rave, Miscavige calls the ban a “despicable hate crime,” and asks »»»
What’s next, will Scientologists have to wear yellow, six-pointed stars on our clothing?”
During World War II, Hitler forced Jewish men, women and children to wear a a yellow cloth star bearing the word Jude to brand them in the streets of Europe, and in the Nazi death camps.
The ‘church,’ founded by dead Sci-Fi writer L. Ron Hubbard, and on the verge of being outlawed in France, is at one and the same time an international laughing stock built, as it is, around a weird galactic overlord named Xenu, and a terror organisation, holding thousands of people around the world in helpless thrall while it milks them of their sanity and money.
It depends on celebrities such as as one of its chief spokesmen, actor Tom Cruise, to scam people into joining, and then manipulates them into paying thousands of dollars to enable them to ascend different levels, with Operating Thetan Level Eight as the Ultimate Reward.
According to, Miscavige, everyone who criticises the cult is a crook or, as he puts it in R&R, “We do not find critics of Scientology who do not have criminal backgrounds.”
With the “brutal decision” to bar the cult’s IP addresses, the Wikipedia is,” criminally attacking the world’s most ethical people, members of the Scientology religion,” Miscavige raves, adding »»»
There is so much nonsense on the internet about Scientology, all of which was written by anti-religion extremists in the employ of the Psychiatric-Pharmaceutical industry. Many are also being paid by certain depraved, degenerate factions within the German government. You can’t believe any of it. If these scumbags had their way, all children would be psych-drugged into oblivion, most eventually becoming high school gunmen; vicious de-programmers would constantly be leaping out from shadowy corners; there would be all-night electroshock parlors on the high street of every village, town and city; and anyone who tried to live an ethical life would quickly receive an icepick lobotomy. This is why it is necessary for Scientologists to try to present a balanced perspective, by showcasing all the good things about the Scientology religion, and removing all the lies.
Stay tuned.

yeah, those poor poor Cult members. Complaining that their IPs are banned on wikipedia , while they themself ban commenting and voting on their “propaganda” videos on YT!

You may want to re-read the source. You are quoting from a joke article. I guess it’s easy to make the mistake since the article is not too far removed from how scientologists react.

Miscavige’s statement is also in this official Press Release:

Hilarious!

You’re right, but nonetheless …

You have tricked many people with p2pnet spoofs, so now it is your turn.

Don’t worry, I’m sure the frothing crime boss David Miscaviage repeatedly informs his remaining customers that his crime syndicate is dieing because they’re “persecuted” just like the Jewish Holocaust.

I’m confused. Is “Wikipedia has banned Scientology” a hoax?
I even heard of it this past week on at least 2 mainstream media sites.

The Star of David story is a hoax — I think.
But the ban is real.
Cheers!

Scientology has actually pulled the “poor persecuted Scientology, a minority religion, just like Jews in 1938″ card before.

P2Pnet has never been what anyone could call a reliable source of news or information but for the last year or so, it has been going downhill even for it and this is just the latest example.
It is time for it to just shut up.

Watcher;
If you don’t like what is being published and talked about here on P2P.net, then I suggest you find another site that’s more to your liking. I’m fairly new to this site but I find Jon’s news always interesting. It’s not his fault he got tricked by that bunch of phonies, they’re used to bending and warping people’s minds all in the name of a “religion” that doesn’t exist and is in reality a cult much like the moonies or some of the so-called other religions that rely on bilking their members out of money by promising them things that will never happen.
Ron L. Hubbard was nothing more than a con man and a scam artist as well as a second rate sci-fi writer, who managed to cash in on a viable scam to bilk honest hard working people out of their money. Nowadays, the COS caters to the rich and famous as well as the weak minded who believe the drivel coming from their leaders.

Watcher:
Dude, come on. You throw these little attacks in every now and again, but you never actually *do anything* to make p2pnet better.
I’ve called Jon Newton and everybody else here out on many occasions myself (primarily because I’m an asshole). I also freely admit that I’m rather opinionated and not very “gentle” during debate. But the reason i do it is because it needs to be done. I consider DA, Jon Newton, and most other posters here to be valuable contributors and I genuinely value what they have to say.
Some others, not so much.
In particular, “Sam I Am” would get a good solid bitch-slapping from me at regular intervals.
So do you actually have anything worthwhile to contribute?
Do you like p2p technology?
Do you like freedom of speech/Internet freedom?
What do you think of the RIAA?
Is copyright/patent law out of hand, or not?
What do you think about religions, and the organizations which promote them?
Where’s the dividing-line between a “religion” and a “cult”?
Those are some substantive and important questions, and the issues they raise have profound impact on our lives.
Your snarky little jabs don’t.
So here’s a tip:
If you think p2pnet or it’s contributors espouse bad ideas, or that Jon is hypocritical or whatever, step up to the plate, dude: state your position.
But I don’t think you will. Pissy little jabs are much easier than putting together a coherent argument.

For the record, RantRave is in no way affiliated with Scientology. It is a blog site that anyone can contribute to.
