Teensy, dice-sized speaker
p2pnet news view | Cool:- It kind of stands to reason, doesn’t it?
That you wouldn’t get a lot of punch out of this teensy dice-sized little speaker.
But at $10, and measuring 26 x 26 x 25mm, you’d get what you paid for.
It’ll work with any MP3 player, says USBFever, listing the specs as:
- Power Output: 0.8W
- THD : 0.5%
- Frequency Response: 600Hz ~ 20KHz
- Power: Lithium Polymer Battery (3.7V, 210mA)
- Playing time: 4 hours (Max 5 hours) Normal Use
- working Temperature: DC4.2V +/- 0.05
- Charging Current:” 150mA +/- 10mA
- Product Dimension: 26 x 26 x 26 (mm)
It has a built-in amplification and a rechargeable lithium battery, and charges by USB (included) .
People will buy it because it’s neat, if nothing else.

Er…hardly die-sized, unless you play with really large dice. And not terribly new, either, as I’ve been selling them for over a year. Used to use it a good bit on my portable satellite radio, until I canceled the subscription. It’s surprisingly loud, for something so small, probably equaling or beating the speaker of a certain cell phone/MP3 player we all know and make fun of…

Frequency Response: 600Hz ~ 20KHz
600 hz?? Most fundamentals are below 500 hz, most of the music you “listen” with this speaker is a psychoacoustic effect.
