‘He’ is, of course, Phil Spector, recently sentenced to 19 years after actress Lana Clarkson was found shot to death at Spector’s Californian mansion in February, 2003.
“Spector showed no emotion at the verdict but his wife Rachelle – 40 years his junior – sobbed,” says The Mirror, going on:
“Spector had claimed Lana ‘kissed the gun’ before firing it herself.
“But the prosecution insisted the reclusive star – who invented the wall of sound production technique – shot Clarkson after she resisted his sexual advances.”
The observation comes in a Reader’s Write, pointing to a Smoking Gun post which shows Phil as seen through the lens of a prison, instead of PR publicist’s, camera.

Now he’s a, “ward of the California state prison system, wig-loving murderer Phil Spector has been forced to return to his au naturel state,” says the story, adding:
“As seen in the below mug shot, the 69-year-old Spector’s dome is no longer covered by one of the fright wigs he wore during his criminal trials (the most recent of which ended in the music producer’s conviction for killing actress Lana Clarkson in February 2003). Spector, who was sentenced last month to 19 years in prison, was photographed after arriving last week at the North Kern State Prison Reception Center in Delano.”

If Spector had done some simple googling, he should have known that he didn’t stand a chance with Lana. And not just romantically … With her considerable size advantage, 6′ Lana could have easily ‘kicked his ass’ so that’s why Spector needed a gun to subdue her.
With so many criminals coming out of the recording industry woodwork, P2Pnet should start a lottery: Who will be the next major record producer to go to prison?

It’s amazing how much coverage Rachelle and Mr. Spector’s wigs get when there is 0, Nada, no coverage about Mr. Spector’s Son Gary who was served a Restraining Order the day AFTER his father was convicted (April 13, 09) by a lady that even she admits to not speaking to him for about 10 months after hiring him to setup her karaoke show for 4 years. She even stated that he has never even threatened her at any time during the time he worked for her or since.
He has been to Court and found Guilty of having a temper just based on what his father has done. Well, this lady wanted her 15 minutes of fame for taking down a son of Phil Spector. Well, thanks to the Courts allowing this to happen, she was able to win.
Where is the coverage for the abuse of the legal system here in Colorado Springs where someone can be thrown in Court basically just for who your parents are?
