Little young thing go around my dick with your tongue ring / Deep throat my nine inch

That’s from a Sony Music CD, and you’ll find more Sony porn here. Or simply use your favourite search engine.

Or how about Eminem? He’s now doing his own thing, but he’s still Big Music, big time, so here’s a little Eminem prose:

Bitch getter, hid in the bush like Margot Kidder
Jumped out (Ahhhh!) killed the bitch and did her
Use to let the babysitter suck my dick when I was little’er
Smoke a blunt while I’m titty fuckin Bette Midler
Sniper, waiting on your roof like the Fiddler
Y’all thought I was gonna rhyme with Riddler
Didn’t Ya? Bring your bitch I wanna see if this dick gon’ fit in her

The words above come in an ancient p2pnet story published almost exactly five years ago.

And in 2009, Big Music is still distributing porn, but with a new ingredient, says p2pnet Australia correspondent Tom Koltai.

Before we get to to that, however, “Not to worry,” p2pnet pointed out in the 2004 post cited above, because, “the RIAA has things in hand. For example, if you go to the RIAA page here, you’ll find this:

The recording industry takes seriously our responsibility to help parents identify music with explicit lyrics. We believe that not all music is right for all ages and our Parental Advisory Label was created for just that reason. Parents can use the label to identify music that may not be appropriate for their children and make the choice about when – and whether – their children should be able to have that recording.

“Music can also be an opportunity – an outlet for parents or other adults to talk to kids and an opportunity for adults to tune into what kids are thinking and feeling. Listen to the music they choose and ask them why they like a certain song or album. What do they think the artist is saying?

That was then. These days, “Although parents may object to the small number of recordings that contain sexually explicit themes, violence, and/or strong language, for the most part, they resist censorship of any kind,” says the RIAA.

Huh? Read that again. It doesn’t even make sense. But what else is new?

It adds, “Parents want to set the limits. They need information to do that. The Parental Advisory Label helps parents stay informed about their children’s music [RIAA emphasis].

Riiight.

Giving head in Oz

Tom’s friend and partner in Australia is  Chris Gilbey who on June 8 wrote in Perceptric »»»

In the Australian chart this week is a record by Lily Allen called “Not Fair”: Here are some of the lyrics:

Oh, I lie here in the wet patch in the middle of the bed
I’m feeling pretty damn hard done by, I spent ages giving head
Then I remember all the nice things that you ever said to me
Maybe I’m just overreacting, maybe you’re the one for me

Now I remember back in the 60’s that Tipper Gore (Al’s wife) railed against the lyrics in songs at that time – and got nowhere.

But I am not against anyone writing anything, recording anything, or playing anything on the radio. However I do think that if you point the finger at someone for whatever reason, you should be prepared to be held accountable in the same way.

The record business doesn’t want people to share files, and that is one thing. But they are apparently quite content to promote giving head to the market that purchase their records. And who would that be? Early and pre-teenagers is who.

We, as a society, are quick to judge those who exploit children for sex. What about those who exploit children by selling them  quite explicit sexually charged material? When a barman sells a drink to someone who is already drunk there is a potential for the barman to be charged in the event that the drunk then goes outside and, under the influence, runs someone over in his (or her) car. If someone sells material that sexualizes or exploits children there is a public outcry, as in the case of the Sydney photographer, Bill Henson.

What about the record company in this case? What about the song publisher? What about the radio stations that are playing the record? These people who are all profiting from selling the work in question are, in my opinion, much more responsible for a decline in the way our society functions and the morals that should hold it together than a P2Per who shares a song without payment.

Now, “We have an update to that item that will shock and amaze, well at least it shocked and amazed us,” says Tom, continuing »»»

If, as the record companies claim, very young kids are downloading their music and it’s the parents’ responsibility to stop them, the following facts will make you sit up and possibly reassess the morality of the persons who run the various contnet companies.

We collect P2P stats from various networks and are actively monitoring the progress of P2P ‘illegal file sharing’ (IFS) as measured against the performance of the Australian top 50 Hits charts as published by ARIA.

In other words, if P2Pers download the files first and the result is the downloaded songs move up the charts, obviously P2P is a promotional tool for the content industry.

However if P2Pers download a file AFTER it has become popular (ie, top of the charts) obviously P2P IFS is damaging the content industry.

I’ve just received an update from one of my valued ’sources’ from amongst the many around the country who assists us in ensuring our statistics have triangulation confirmation of our four hop count rule.

It would appear the official interdiction policy now includes seeding the hottest moving files with fake porn content.

Forensic accountants will explain that to find the white collar criminal, one merely needs to follow the money and at the end of the trail is the criminal.

As much of the content has no tags or URL’s to push users towards paying X-rated content sites, I have to conclude the only beneficiaries are the persons carrying out the interdiction for the music industry.

We’ve seen the interdiction of fake files go from :

  • Blank mp3s (White noise recording – hissing),
  • Blank files – A single frame saying Downloading is a crime repeated for the length of the film clip or movie
  • Fake movie content files (content taped off a free to air channel)

All of that is probably fair and reasonable for persons protecting their content from the likes of illegal file sharing miscreants.

But to deliberately mislabel X-Rated hard core pornography with the name of one of the world’s most popular singers just to prevent a few kids from getting the music for free is not OK in my book.

Shame on you music industry. And if you say, ‘But it’s not us’! – please give us at least one other suspect who might benefit from mislabeling a piece of non advertorial type XXX content.

Can’t think of any ? Nor can I.

These are all video clips purportedly of music artists that are expected to go up the charts.

How dare you music Industry?

This has to be classified as one of the all time worst commercial decisions the labels have ever made.

I wonder how Alesha Dixon, Kate Perry and Flo rida would feel if they knew the industry was associating them with this kind of content?

More to the point, would this constitute a breach of the morals clause? And could recording artists that were so slandered break their contracts as a result?

Tom Koltai – p2pnet
[Koltai is an economist in Sydney Australia. He's says he's been online for 26 years, has run several ISPs and, "lobbied governments in four countries to prevent Internet restrictive usage legislation from being enacted". He says he's a strong believer in P2P, "as being a technological requirement to fully exploit the convergence of telephony with computers and remove the last barriers to human communication and interaction".]

This is what we got from the music industry parasites: Butt hole poetry poisoning the mind of our kids for so many years! What a nasty croud of hugly people!

    Let’s bring the exterminators!

  2. Reader's Write Says:

Do they have the rights to distribute those clips? Despite being porn, i’m sure the copyright belongs to someone.

  3. Dreddsnik Says:

Sounds like something they would do, after all, it’s my unprovable opinion that they have been deliberately seeding
p2p networks with malicious virii and trojans for years.

They already know that they can’t be definitively traced by their own experiences in court.
The only reason they have been able to do what they do in court for so long is their deep pockets.

” Do they have the rights to distribute those clips? ”

Doesn’t matter. It’s always been “Do as I say, Not as I do” when it comes to the big media.
Ask Rafael Venegas. (sp ? )

  4. Reader's Write Says:

This is more LULZ by Anonymous, at the expense of the Organized Music.

  5. oldtime ED2K user Says:

Because ED2K indexes file-hashes (which can correlate to multiple filenames) one problem that often results is that if a single person sharing a common porn file renames it to a commonly-requested (non-porn) title, any search for that title will result in a high amount of false sources, even if only one (false) filename (out of perhaps 100 valid porn-filenames) for that filehash matches the search query.

It’s important to learn how to use ED2K to avoid these mis-named files, which exist everywhere in the ED2K network, and always have.

    Using eMule:

hit the “Transfers” button to view the download queue

right-click on a file being downloaded, then click “Details”

    click the “name” tab

(this will list all the different filenames that users have given this file, and the relative abundance of each filename. If you see a lot of porn-related filenames in the list, then it’s probably a porn file.)

Besides identifying fakes, checking the alternate filenames of a download also helps to identify movies and TV shows that are dubbed in a foreign language. This procedure needs to be done for EVERY file that does not come from a trusted source — and that’s anything you find using the ED2K search engine. Otherwise, you’ll be guaranteed to download a lot of mis-named files!

  6. Vato Loco Says:

“When a barman sells a drink to someone who is already drunk there is a potential for the barman to be charged in the event that the drunk then goes outside and, under the influence, runs someone over in his (or her) car.”

Is that serious? Then they should start charging guns sellers and car factories in the case that someone might do something bad.

  7. Eric Says:

It’s already too late to stop the poisoning which has already done its damage.

  8. Robert Says:

Hmm… given the quality of the music the RIAA groups push… I’d gladly take the free porn!

Of course they have. It’s been one of their kept secrets. However word of it got out when they were employing Loudeye. Loudeye was one of those opportunistic businesses like Mediasentry. What Loudeye did was seed bad files on the various P2P of the time, like DC, Soulseek, eDonkey, Limewire, etc. They would put out files that had static in them.

The other thing they did, was take advantage of M$’s sloppy programming. When you got a protected song, it would have a license tab, in the metafile. Windows would accept the license contact as default bonefide. So Loudeye would add a trojan when the song went to contact the licensing info on the tab. They would then feed a trojan to you. This went on until M$ finally closed that hole. Shortly after that, Loudeye went out of business. It was in the news at the time. Do a search, the info should still be around.
