Will Gary McKinnon be tried in UK or US?
p2pnet news view Freedom | P2P:- Will UFO hacker Gary McKinnon be tried in the US or the UK?
Embattled and disgraced ex-UK home secretary Jacqui ‘Big Sister’ Smith, made a “flawed decision” when she, “disregarded powerful medical evidence in the case of computer hacker Gary McKinnon, who is facing extradition to the US,” said The Guardian recently.
George W. Bush wanted him, and now Barack Obama wants him,” said p2pnet.
He became Britain’s most famous hacker when he penetrated US military systems looking for hidden data on unidentified flying objects.
The Obama administration is echoing George W. Bush, fighting tooth and nail to have McKinnon extradited to America.
Now, “Lord Justice Stanley Burnton and Mr Justice Wilkie will hear the Londoner’s application for a judicial review on 14 July, McKinnon’s solicitor, Karen Todner, tells ZDNet UK.
“McKinnon, accused of the ‘biggest military hack of all time’ by US prosecutors, is pursuing a judicial review of a decision by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) not to prosecute him in this country,” says the story, going on, “Prosecution in the UK would enable McKinnon to avoid extradition to the US, where he runs the risk of being placed in a ’supermax’ prison for up to 60 years, according to his legal team.
“If the judges grant McKinnon’s application for the judicial review, then the review itself will be heard on the same day,’ it has his lawyer, Karen Todner, saying.
The judges are, “also in the process of reviewing whether former home secretary Jacqui Smith was correct in law when she denied McKinnon’s second appeal to the Home Office,” says the story, adding:
“Todner said the two judges would be likely to pass judgement on both cases at the same time, but said they would be unlikely to give that judgement on 14 July.”

Why don’t they just use the CIA Black Ops to nab him?
Wouldn’t that be so much easier?

They are harbouring a Russian citizen named Boris Berezovsky and giving him a British passport with the name “Platon Yelenin” and refusing to extradite him to Russia… yet they are going to throw this British person to the wolves of a country that brags about torturing people! Who does this British government represent, anyway? A very dark day for Britain if they go through with this.
