“Apple has refused to comment on the matter but did quote Mr Jobs in a press release on first weekend sales figures for the next generation of iPhones,” according to the BBC, which goes on:
“The blogosphere has noted several sightings of Apple’s co-founder around its campus in Silicon Valley.”
And, “Jobs is in the house!” it has CNBC’s Jim Goldman, “who is regarded as having close ties to Apple,” as saying, adding, “Confirmed! Steve Jobs did report for work today, according to employees who have seen him on campus.”
Whoopeee!
It’s good news that, following a liver transplant, Jobs is apparently recovering from his bout with pancreatic cancer.
But the mass media hysteria that’s erupted online following the news he’s seemingly back to work is, IOHO, more than just a little scary.

The funny thing is that Steve probably does nothing at Apple other than PR.

Maybe Steve is not that powerful in Apple today, but the world would definitely be a very different place if it he had not been around. Whether for good or bad.

Good that he got his health back. Sad to see that some need to parade around with it. He is back at work… so?
