BREIN goes after The Pirate Bay on Twitter
p2pnet news view Freedom | P2P:- Oh dear. The Pirate Bay is in trouble again, this time in Holland.
Dutch entertainment kartell outfit BREIN wants it shut down in The Netherlands and, not only but also, wants Fredrik Neij, Peter Sunde and Gottfrid Warg at a court hearing in Amsterdam on July 21.
Whether or nor the trio will actually show up is a matter for conjecture, says Mikael Ricknäs for the IDG News Service, going on »»»
BREIN chose an unusual method to summon them and used Facebook and Twitter to convey the information to three men.
“You can find the defendants on Facebook and Twitter. Internet works for enforcers as well as infringers.
“Now they know about the court case in the Netherlands,” said BREIN director Tim Kuik in a statement.
But, “Neij told Swedish news agency Tidningarnas Telegrambyrå that he uses Facebook and Twitter, but hadn’t seen anything about the case,” adds IDG.
Stay tuned.

And I’m sure the gang at TPB would already have all the BREIN people on their “Friends” list (in order to receive messages from them).
Too funny!
