China Baidu P2P search site
p2pnet news view Advertising | P2P:- According to an “insider,” Baidu, China’s answer to Google, “plans to release a peer-to-peer (P2P) search service at p2p.baidu.com soon,” says JLM Pacific, quoting Sohu, going on:
“The site’s provided links will include P2P sources from easyMule, said the insider.”
And the site seems to be fully operational.
When we entered Brittany Spears, we had an instant response.
When we clicked the first entry, we were taken to 8box.cn a “music sharing service” which, says Quantcast, “reaches approximately 2,012 U.S. monthly people” and, “attracts a Asian, younger following.
There were also links to a number of rude sites.
The second, http://datalib.ent.qq.com/star/136/ took us to a ‘Britanny Jean Spears’ page with a stream Brit pix and, presumably (we don’t read Chinese) links to songs.
How will Vivendi Universal, EMI, Warner Music and Sony Music react?
Stay tuned.
