JournoTwit – Twitter for journalists
p2pnet news view P2P:- We’ve found quite a few posts in Twitter, but never in an organised way.
So is JournoTwit (looks a little insulting – you ‘journo twit you’ -
) the answer?
It was created by Andrew “Spode” Miller, a “long standing technology journalist” who says he’s found Twitter to be an amazing resource, “but an incredible time hog, and a cause for information overload”.
Enter JournoTwit, designed to suit the, “fast paced, nomadic lifestyle of a journalist” but which, “may well suit others”.
It’s a lot like TweetDeck, says Andrew, only it’s web-based.
It, “stores all your settings, and your last read tweet, remotely, allowing you to move from machine to machine to mobile seamlessly, or simultaneously. It supports multiple logins for as many accounts as you like. It splits your feed up into managable columns, so you can choose to take in what you want, when you have time.”
And, “It allows you to prioritise some people, and drown out others.”
Good one.
